Accra: A roadmap for the 2024 Ghana Movie Awards has been unveiled, with the main awards gala scheduled for December 1, 2024. The event is set to honor excellence in the Ghanaian film industry, highlighting the numerous opportunities available to filmmakers.
According to Ghana News Agency, filmmakers, actors, and actresses have begun submitting their nominations for what is considered the most prestigious night in the Ghanaian film industry. The deadline for nominations is November 5, 2024. Industry stakeholders interested in participating are encouraged to submit their works for consideration through the Ghana Movie Awards’ official website.
The awards ceremony, organized by GP Production and its partners, aims not only to recognize outstanding achievements but also to celebrate Ghana’s rich cultural heritage. The event serves as a platform for local filmmakers to engage with a global audience. The main awards night will be held at the Accra International Conference Center (AICC), a venue known for hosting
