Terrorist cell broken up in Sidi Bouzid

A terrorist cell, active in Bir Lahfey and Sidi Bouzid, was broken up by the Investigation and Search Unit of the region’s National Guard.

Four members of this cell, aged between 30 and 35, admitted allegiance to terrorist group Daesh and glorifying terrorism, the Interiour Ministry said.

The Public Prosecutor ordered to place the four individuals in custody and to prosecute them for belonging to a terrorist group, the ministry added.
