Tounes Ta3mal 2.0, a platform to help young jobseekers was launched Friday by Microsoft, in partnership with Silatech, said Microsoft Tunisia Citizenship Programme Manager Alia Mahmoud.

The platform provides access to 400 lessons to strengthen professional skills of Tunisian youth, particularly those seeking jobs, besides career guidance, entrepreneurial training, internship proposals volunteer activities.

It also offers young promoters a direct link with experts and specialists allowing them to learn about how to create their projects and finance them, said Mrs. Mahmoud.

The platform also offers business services to companies wishing to recruit skills and allows them to learn about candidates’ qualifications.

Tounes Ta3mal is linked to a mobile phone application “Naja7ni emploi” proposed by Ooredoo (formerly Tunisiana) allowing youth to learn about job opportunities and test their knowledge in career guidance and entrepreneurship, according to Ali Mnif from Silatech.

The company plans to disseminate this product in regions and universities, he noted.
