Mehdi Jomaa Receives Medays Award 2014

Prime Minister Mehdi Jomaa received, Friday in Tangier (Morocco), the award of MEDays 2014, an annual international forum organised by the Amadeus Institute, under the high auspices of King Mohamed VI.

Through this award laquo the scientific council of this 7th edition which gathers eminent international personalities, pays tribute to Mehdi Jomaa for the role played by his government to relaunch economic development in Tunisia, establish political stability and restore hope and confidence to Tunisians by setting the country on the path of democracy and development. raquo

Jomaa assured on the occasion, that this tribute laquo goes beyond his person, it is for all Tunisians, notably youths, raquo adding laquo our country has made sure steps on the path of constructing a nascent democracy after ensuring the success of the legislative elections, raquo the news release points out.

The PM also asserted laquo the determination of Tunisians, State institutions and the political class to make of the presidential elections a real feast of the nascent democracy and an event that indicates the end of the transitional phase and engagement in an economic and social transition process.
