Ras Jedir Border Crossing Re-Opens

The Ras Jedir border crossing was re-opened, Tuesday at midnight, recording an average influx, Wednesday morning, notably with entry of Libyan nationals into the Tunisian territory, TAP correspondent in the region reported.

The decision to close the borer crossing since last Thursday, had been made by the crisis response unit to ensure the security of the presidential election.

“The latest developments in Libya are a domestic issue and there is no danger for our country,” Colonel Mourad Mahjoub, assuring that security forces are ready to protect the country against any threat.
