Prime Minister Mehdi Jomaa had, Tuesday, a working session with members of the Truth and Dignity Authority during which arrangements to be taken to facilitate the authority’s task and speed up setting up its central and regional structures.

In a statement to the media at the end of the meeting, Authority President Sihem Ben Sedrine said that the arrangements consist in providing a central premises and regional annexes and sufficient human resources and assigning a budget meeting the scope of the responsibility entrusted to the authority.

As set by the law on transitional justice, the preparatory working period of the Truth and Dignity Authority extends over six months, before focusing on looking at the files inherent to presumed violations.
