131 individuals were arrested on Tuesday by the coast guard units nationwide as they were attempting to illegally reach the European coasts.

These individuals include 29 Tunisian nationals and 102 of sub-Saharan nationalities, an Interior Ministry press release issued Wednesday reads.

Consulted on this matter, the Public Prosecutor’s Office ordered to take the necessary measures against them.
