The draw of the 2022 FIVB Volleyball Men’s World Championship held Thursday in Moscow placed Tunisia in group A, alongside Russia (hosts), Serbia and Puerto Rico.
Group composition:
Group A: Russia, Serbia, Tunisia and Puerto Rico
Group B: Brazil, Japan, Cuba and Qatar
Group C: Poland, USA, Mexico and Bulgaria
Group D: France, Slovenia, Germany and Cameroon
Group E: Italy, Canada, Turkey and China
Group F: Argentina, Iran, Holland and Egypt.
Tunisia will represent the African continent as the African champions, along with Cameroon, runners-up, and Egypt, one of the 12 best ranked by the FIVB.
This will be Tunisia’s 11th participation in the World Cup after 1962, 1970, 1978, 1986, 1998, 2002, 2006, 2010, 2014, 2018.
