ACCRA: The preliminary round of the 2024/25 MTN FA Cup has been announced, featuring 92 lower-tier teams vying for a place in the subsequent stage of the competition. Highlighting the draw is the match-up between Great Olympics and WAFA Sporting Club, two former premier league teams, set to face off in what promises to be an intense battle as both teams seek advancement to the round of 64. According to Ghana News Agency, the preliminary matches are scheduled to take place from October 25 to 28, with premier league clubs entering the tournament in the round of 64, slated for November 29 to December 2, 2024. Among other notable fixtures, King Faisal will host Adjoafuaman FC, while New Edubiase is set to meet Asekem in their respective games.
