29th Arab Summit: Caid Essebsi meets with UAE Vice President Mohamed Bin Rachid Al Maktoum

President Beji CaA�d Essebsi met Sunday with Vice President of the United Arab Emirates and Prime Minister, Governor of Dubai Sheikh Mohamed Bin Rachid Al Maktoum, on the sidelines of his participation in the 29th Arab Summit, in Dhahran (Saudi Arabia).

According to Abdelkarim Hermi, Diplomatic Adviser for the Presidency of the Republic, during this meeting, President Caid Essebsi reviewed the historical ties binding the two countries and means to further strengthen them in the service of the two brotherly peoples.

The President of the Republic also reaffirmed Tunisia’s attachment to its privileged relations with all Arab countries.

On this occasion, he commended the joint commitment of Tunisia and the United Arab Emirates to serve the bilateral interest and to defend the just Arab causes.

For his part, Sheikh Mohamed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum said he was confident about the future of relations between Tunisia and the United Arab Emirates, wishing Tunisia peace, stability and prosperity.

The meeting was attended by Foreign Minister Khemaies Jhinaoui and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs of the United Arab Emirates Mansour Bin Zaied Al-Nahyane.
