30% of measures taken for Tataouine region to be implemented on time

30% of the measures taken for the Tataouine region will be carried out within the set deadlines, Minister of Vocational Training and Employment and chairman of the High Committee for the Implementation of the Decisions announced by the Prime Minister for the Tataouine governorate, Imed Hammami said on Monday.

Speaking to reporters shortly before the start of the periodic meeting of the High Committee for the follow-up of the decisions announced on April 27, 2017 by the Prime Minister for the benefit of the governorate of Tataouine, Hammami said today’s meeting will focus, in particular, on ways to respect the recruitment schedule which envisages 150 jobs in oil companies in September 2017 and on the implementation of decisions relating to the sectors of health, agriculture and equipment.

The meeting will make it possible to set the date for the announcement of the results of the competition for recruitment of 1,500 people among the young people of Tataouine in the environment and gardening company, divided between 300 executives and 1,200 agents, In addition to examining the level of progress of the employment process, under the Dignity Contract.

The meeting was attended by representatives of young people from the governorate of Tataouine, the governor and MPs of the region, as well as representatives of the Tunisian General Labour Union (UGTT), the Tunisian Confederation of Industry, Trade and Handicrafts (UTICA) and the Regional Union of Agriculture and Fisheries.
