Thirty-two female initiatives from the municipalities of Douz and Fouar (Governorate of Kebili) have been selected under the project “Oasis women initiatives for a shared and inclusive development in Kebili” funded by Norway.
In this regard, a training session entitled “The farmer investor” was organised by the Nakhla association in collaboration with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the Ministry of Youth, Sport and Professional Integration.
The initiatives had been selected among 167 project ideas proposed to the association, said Wednesday “Nakhla” association president Ahmed Abdeldahem to TAP.
Running from October 23 to 28, 2021, the training session proposes t support the recipient women in converting their ideas into feasible projects with the help of investment experts and entrepreneurs in the agricultural sector, the same source added.
The proposed initiatives are in the oasis farming and ecological tourism sectors.
