41 sub-Saharan Africans rescued off Kerkennah coasts, another 40 arrested in Kasserine and Jendouba

Coast Guard units in Kerkenna on Saturday night foiled an attempt to illegally cross the sea borders and rescued 41 sub-Saharan Africans after the sinking of their boat off the coast, Spokesperson for the General Directorate of the National Guard said Sunday in a press release.
National Guard units in Kasserine and Jendouba also arrested on Saturday 40 Sub-Saharan Africans who had illegally crossed the borders and are irregularly staying on the Tunisian territory, the ame source added, indicating that the Public Prosecutor’s Office had ordered to take the necessay measures against them.
