This session, organized by the Foundation of the Forum of Assilah, in partnership with the Ministry of Youth, Culture and Communication (Department of Culture) and the municipality of Assilah, under the patronage of HM King Mohammed VI, is taking place from June 30 to July 24, and is dedicated to plastic arts.

On this occasion, the Minister, who was accompanied by the Secretary General of the Foundation of the Forum of Assilah, Mohamed Benaissa, in the presence of several local officials, intellectuals, artists, cultural actors and associations, visited several exhibitions, held as part of the summer session of the Moussem.

In a statement to the press, Mr. Bensaid voiced his joy to inaugurate several exhibitions by artists from the city of Assilah and elsewhere.

“These exhibitions by renowned artists from Morocco and abroad are a source of pride and joy for us and for residents and visitors of Assilah, a city that breathes art and culture,” he said.

The program of the summer session includes a mural painting workshop, organized since 1978. This workshop is conducted by 12 artists in the various alleys of the medina of Assilah.

The summer session also features a mural painting workshop for the children of Assilah (June 30-July 5), as well as the painting workshop, with the participation of 12 artists in the Palace of Culture.

The second session of this edition (October 16 to November 5), will feature several conferences, as part of the 36th session of the Summer University Al-Mouatamid Ibn Abbad, as well as workshops on sculpture and painting.
