Accra: The management of Accra Marriott Hotel is preparing to host the second edition of its wedding fair, slated to occur from October 11 to 12, 2025. The event will be held in the hotel's Nkrumah ballroom, garden, landing space, and designated breakout areas reserved for masterclasses and other activities.

According to Ghana News Agency, the fair, named 'Marry Me', aims to unite would-be couples, anniversary celebrants, vendors, and elite wedding artisans in a shared space for inspiration and connection. The event is scheduled to run daily from 1000 hours to 1900 hours.

Ms. Rebekah Obeng, the Director of Sales and Marketing at Accra Marriott Hotel, announced at the launch event in Accra that the fair is organized in collaboration with White Chalk International, a prominent wedding planning and lifestyle brand. She emphasized that the fair presents an opportunity for the hotel to display its spaces to patrons and those preparing for marriage.

Ms. Obeng highlighted the success of the maiden edition, which achieved its goal of raising awareness among its target audience. The upcoming fair is expected to provide a platform for patrons to engage with vendors for real-time experiences related to wedding programs and activities. She also mentioned that the company has partnered with churches to increase interest in the event, encouraging widespread participation.

Ms. Adwoa Oduro, PR and Marketing Manager at Accra Marriott Hotel, added that the fair would allow attendees to explore Marriott's flexible wedding spaces and interact with the continent's top vendors. The opening ceremony will feature a fashion show and expert interactions, while the second day will focus on masterclasses, another fashion show, and a closing party with surprise giveaways. These giveaways include meals and a weekend stay for two at the hotel, complete with breakfast.
