(TAP) – The Administrative Court, on Friday, issued 55 rulings on the challenges against the preliminary results of the first round of the legislative elections.
The court rejected 40 challenges for formal defects and 12 for substantive defects, while 3 challenges were accepted, thus revoking the decisions of the Independent High Authority for Elections (ISIE).
The ISIE is now called to reconsider the rank of the candidate in the district of Soliman, Nabeul governorate, as well as those in Medina Jedida of Ben Arous governorate.
The Court, on Thursday, had accepted one challenge, while eight were rejected for formal defects and five others for substantive defects, said Judge at the Administrative Court and member of its press office Olfa Guiras.
