African Economic Forum to be organised on 24 and 25 April in Tunis

The Trade Ministry organises in partnership with the Arab Bank for Economic Development in Africa (BADEA), the International Islamic Trade Finance Corporation (ITFC), the German cooperation through GIZ and TUNISAIR, the first international economic forum exclusively for the Africa, in Tunisia, on April 24-25, 2018 in Tunis, according to the Export Promotion Centre (CEPEX) website.

Participants in this Forum include 38 countries, 200 high-level African guests and 800 participants. It aims to create a platform for exchange and dialogue, by mobilising international experts, senior representatives of African governments and Tunisian and African economic operators around 5 sectoral workshops on BTP & engineering services, ICTs, higher education, agri-food, health and financial services.

An institutional panel under the theme “African economic integration: lever of growth of the economies of the continent” will be chaired by Prime Minister Youssef Chahed.

Business meetings are also planned during the forum to help build cooperation links between African economic operators.
