Tunisian swimmer Khalil Ben Ajmia, on Tuesday, bagged the gold medal in the 800m freestyle for 16-18 year-olds, as part of the African Swimming Championships, currently held in Accra, Ghana.

Ben Ajmia, who clocked 8:16.16, had won the gold medal at the Tunis edition in 2019 in the 1500m freestyle and the 5km open water in the 15-16 years category.

For this edition, Tunisia is represented by Khalil Ben Ajmia (16-18 years), Jamila Boulakbech (14-15 years) and Malek Louisi in the seniors category.
