Tunisian Khalil Jendoubi won the gold medal in the U45 kg category, at the first day of the African Taekwondo Championships, organised June 5-6 in Dakar (Senegal).

For their part, Ikram Dhahri, Firas Gattoussi, Farès Boujemai and Chayma Toumi won the bronze medal in their respective categories.

Tunisia is represented by seven athletes at these championships.
