Agreement on conducting studies on corruption in research centres, inked

An agreement on conducting studies on corruption in Tunisian universities’ research centres, was inked on Tuesday by the Higher Education and Scientific Research Ministry and the National Anti-Corruption Authority (INLUCC).

The budget of 1 million dinars was allocated to conduct these studies over a three-year period, said INLUCC President Shawki Tabib.

By virtue of this agreement, he specified, research laboratories, associations and social partners will be involved in this project which will help reinforce the principles of good governance and entrench the culture of transparency.

Over 75 researchers will conduct these researches within the framework of a participative approach, announced Higher Education and Scientific Research Minister Slim Khalbous.
