“Al-Irada” plans to run for municipal elections with partisan and coalition lists (Marzouki)

President of “Al-Irada” Movement, Moncef Marzouki, said his party plans to run for the next municipal elections with partisan and coalition lists.

Meetings are currently held for the formation of coalition lists including Ettakatol parties and the Democratic Current, he said Sunday during a press conference in Medenine after a meeting in this city.

Al-Irada party, he said, is ready for the municipal elections. “He is working hard pending this event.”

Besides, Marzouki said he never called “to bring down the government”. All I ask is to guarantee the holding of free and fair elections in a climate of transparency as well as the neutrality of media and the public authorities, he said.

According to him, a crisis will occur in the next two years. On the political front, he said, revealing indicators of the crisis are clear, particularly in the face of the instability of ministerial portfolios and the absence of a dialogue between opposition parties on the one hand and between the ruling parties the other hand.

The “current alliances” are only “partisan markets”, he said.
