Al Masser to remain in gov’t, vows support

Al Masser will remain in the government and keep on supporting it, General Co-ordinator Jounaidi Abdeljaouad Monday said.

The National Council, which met over the week end, will also strive to convert priorities set out in Carthage Document into action.

This comes as the party made an assessment of its participation in the coalition government, Abdeljaouad told TAP. Al Masser pledged to comply with the provisions of Carthage Document, notably in connection to war on terror and corruption.

Municipal and legislative elections as well as initiatives to unify forces of the centre were looked at, along with the next congress of the party set for the second half of 2018.
