The Arab Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organisation “ALECSO” is holding the first annual ALECSO “Culture and Arts” Forum on February 14, in collaboration with the Tunisian Ministry of Cultural Affairs.
The forum aims to highlight ALESCO’s efforts as an entity in charge of coordinating joint Arab cultural action and keep the various relevant parties informed of the work axes of the Culture Ministry within the Organisation.
The ALESCO aims to make this first event an annual tradition so as to share its projects and programmes in the fields of culture and the arts.
This forum will be marked by tributes to be paid to calligraphers and artists who contributed to the exhibition of “Arts of calligraphy: Shared Memory, a Living Heritage and a Plural Art” as well as to the organising committee of this event held by ALESCO and the Cultural Affairs Ministry as part of the parallel programme of the 18th Francophonie Summit in Djerba 2022.
It will provide a space of sharing for start-ups collaborating with the Tunis International Center for the Digital Cultural Economy (TICDCE) as well as for students and all structures and people concerned with culture and art. The event will be attended by representatives of Arab diplomatic missions in Tunisia.
