All incoming passengers, including those fully vaccinated required to present negative PCR test from October 27

All incoming passengers including those fully vaccinated will be required, from October 27, to present a negative PCR test of less than 72 hours to enter the Tunisian territory, said the Health Ministry.

The Ministry indicated in a statement this procedure, which does not concern children under 12 years, comes after the development of the global epidemiological situation related to the COVID-19 pandemic and the rise in number of positive cases and deaths in some countries, besides the emergence of a sub-variant of the «Delta’» variant.

It was also decided to subject all incoming travelers, who have not completed the vaccination, including those coming for tourist trips, to a mandatory quarantine in one of the centers dedicated to this purpose.

According to the same statement, travelers arriving in Tunisia must fill out the information sheet on the site https://app.e7mi.tn

Unvaccinated Incoming passengers or those who have not completed their COVID-19 vaccination must observe a 7-day mandatory quarantine at their expense in one of the quarantine centres in the list available on the link https ://www.ontt.tn/ar/blagh

Travelers who have completed their coronavirus vaccination for at least 28 days for the Janssen vaccine and 14 days for the rest of the vaccines and unaccompanied persons under 18 years of age or minors accompanying vaccinated persons are not affected by the mandatory quarantine with the need to observe a self-isolation for seven days.

People arriving for medical reasons are required, in addition to the previous procedures, to obtain prior authorisation from the competent authorities of the Tunisian Ministry of Health, reads the same source.
