Tunis: "From Carthage to New York, Africa is root to world's music," says Anglique Kidjo in an exclusive interview, emphasizing her belief that "Africa is the root of all world music." Kidjo emphasized the African roots of all music, asserting that without the continent's influence, genres such as jazz and classical music wouldn't exist.
