The anti-referendum campaign parties on Monday lodged two lawsuits with the public prosecutor at the Tunis Court of First Instance for “crime reporting.”
These lawsuits are signed by the general secretaries of the Workers’ Party, the Democratic Current, Al Joumhouri, Ettakatol and Al-Qotb.
The first one targets the Prime Minister and all her cabinet members for participation in the overthrow of the constitution, attempts to change the form of government, squandering of public funds and damage to the administration, in application of articles 72 and 96 of the penal code.
The second suit was filed against the president and members of the Independent Higher Authority for the Elections (ISIE).
