Aoussou Carnival, centrepiece of Sousse festival

The Aoussou Carnival is set for July 26 in Sousse as part of the Aoussou Festival (July 18-27). Majorettes parade, brass bands, giant marionettes and folk troupes will mark outstanding moments at the show.

An open day event for body language will be held on July 18 for holidaymakers and tourists. The National Ballet of Burkina Faso will perform on July 19 as part of the Aoussou Festival; a number of shows by Tunisian and foreign troupes are also on the agenda.

Street shows will mark the close of the festival.
