Esperance de Tunis defeated UAE’s Al Jazira (36-23), at an Arab Club Handball Championship group A day-1 game played Sunday afternoon in Hammamet.

The other match of the group will pit EM Mahdia against Qatar’s Al Gharafa, while host club AS Hammamet will face UAE Al-Ain at 18:00 in group B.
