At the end of its 52nd session, the Council of Arab Ministers praised the efforts made by the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Agency, part of the Al-Quds Committee, chaired by His Majesty the King, to support the Palestinian cause, which the Sovereign considers the first national cause.
The Council, which includes the Ministers of Information of the member countries of the League of Arab States, welcomed the request of the Kingdom of Morocco to host the observatory project and the integrated platform of the action plan for media abroad.
The League member states also welcomed Morocco’s request, given its geographical location, its assets in the field of media and its pioneering experience in this field at the regional level.
The Council called on the Arab media to highlight the efforts of Arab countries to support the Palestinian cause, with the aim of enlightening the rising Palestinian generations in this regard, and in particular to highlight the efforts made by the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Agency, under the Al-Quds Committee, chaired by His Majesty King Mohammed VI, in support of Al-Quds and the Palestinian cause.
The ministers and heads of delegation discussed several topics including the Palestinian cause, the Arab media strategy, the follow-up of the action plan of the Arab media abroad, the Arab Electronic Media Committee, the role of the Arab media in the fight against the phenomenon of terrorism and the Arab media map for Sustainable Development 2030.
The program of this session also included the establishment of a unified strategy for dealing with all international media, the Arab Media Day and the Arab Media Excellence Award.
