At the end of its council’s meeting held at the level of Foreign Ministers, the Arab League also welcomed the inauguration of the Moroccan Space called “King Mohammed VI Library” at the headquarters of Parlatino in Panama City.
Furthermore, the Arab Ministerial meeting hailed the medical aid and support in the field of health and medical training granted by the Kingdom of Morocco, upon the High Instructions of HM King Mohammed VI to the Comoros.
In addition, the Council approved the report and recommendations of the Permanent Arab Commission on Human Rights which expressed its thanks and appreciation to Morocco for its initiative on equality and equity as well as on climate change, stressing that Morocco is a pioneer in the field of human rights.
The Council also expressed its support for several applications for UN positions, including that of Professor Miloud Loukili to become a member of the Commission on the Limits of the Continental Shelf (CLCS) of the United Nations for the period 2023-2026, and the candidacy of Hassan Taleb to the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), in addition to the candidacy of Morocco to the executive board of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) for the period 2025-2029, and the candidacy of Hind Ayoubi Idrissi to the Committee on the Rights of the Child (CRC) for the period 2023-2027.
