In an op-ed titled “Australia: the perfect package for Moroccan students,” the diplomat noted that the combination of the Australian people, location and educational offerings form the perfect alliance for Moroccan students to discover their bright future.

In this forum for Moroccans wishing to pursue or begin their English language studies abroad, Cutts stressed that Moroccan students will certainly be enchanted by Australian cities that have one of the lowest crime rates in the world, adding that Australia provides a change of scenery, but also a welcoming, inclusive and supportive environment where, as in Morocco, sunshine and beautiful beaches are guaranteed.

Australia also has “an extraordinary legacy of innovation,” ranging from research and development (e.g., Wi-Fi, penicillin, and the flight recorder, also known as the black box), to advances in educational technology and a sustained effort to inspire entrepreneurship in graduates of all disciplines of study, he said, believing that these are major assets that will continue to fascinate Moroccan students.

International students who choose Australia enjoy unique learning opportunities and experiences, thanks to the clean, safe and diverse natural environment, the diplomat said, adding that with four Australian cities ranked in the top 10 most liveable cities in the world, Australia offers international students quality health care, transportation, infrastructure and lifestyle.

Students have a wide choice of locations across Australia to pursue their studies and a variety of accommodation options are available to them, including student accommodation, Australian host families and private rental houses, he said, stressing that “one thing is for sure, you won’t miss Moroccan hospitality”.

Australia has established a reliable reputation as a world leader in education, training and research, offering internationally recognized and transferable qualifications, the ambassador said, stating that it has therefore become one of the most popular study destinations for foreign students.
