“Ballot papers of military and security personnel will be counted along with civilian voters,” says Salah Riahi

– “The ballot papers of the military and security personnel will be counted in conjunction with civilian voters,” president of the regional section of the Independent High Authority for Elections (ISIE) of Tunis I Salah Riahi said on Thursday.

“The counting of the ballots of military and security personnel will not take place on April 29, 2018, but should start in parallel with the counting of the votes of all the voters scheduled for May 6, 2018,” he told TAP.

The ballot papers of the military, security forces and the civilians will be mixed on the day of the counting in the sight and with the knowledge of the observers, before counting them all and drawing up a report on this subject, he added.
