Bardo knife attack: Assailant placed into custody

The public prosecutor ordered the assailant who wounded two policemen with a knife Wednesday in Bardo held in custody; he will also be handed over to El-Gorjani investigation unit of terrorist crimes.

The man attacked a traffic patrol in Bardo Square on Wednesday morning, while shouting “Allahou Akbar” and “Taghout,” it emerged from a preliminary investigation.
