The efforts of the Civil Protection units are ongoing to control a large fire that broke out, Tuesday afternoon, in Djebel Boukornine (Governorate of Ben Arous) in the area between Hammam Chott and Borj Cedria.
The mayor of Hammam Chott, Nizar Mogri told TAP that the units of the civil protection, the Regional Directorate of Equipment and the Forestry Directorate as well as the neighbouring municipalities have deployed great means to overcome the fire and stop its spread.
According to the same source, water bombers belonging to the National Army joined the extinction efforts.
