A bill authorising the approval of the agreement between Tunisia and France on international road transport of passengers was presented by the French Minister of Europe and International Co-operation to a Council of Ministers meeting chaired by French President Emmanuel Macron.
According to a statement released by the Élysée Wednesday, “the agreement, signed as part of France’s economic diplomacy, helps develop economic relations with Tunisia, by facilitating the flow of goods and people, while providing more visibility on the regulatory environment in the implementation and regulation of these flows.
“The agreement with Tunisia, on the international road transport of persons and supplementing the agreement on the international road transport of goods of 1983, allows a new offer of transport other than air or sea between France and Tunisia.
