Twelve more deaths due to COVID-19 have been recorded in the governorate of Bizerte during the last 48 hours, bringing the total number of deaths to 1,283 people since the spread of the epidemic.

During the same period, the region has seen 367 new positive cases following the publication of the results of 1,462 tests, an average positivity of 25%.

Thus, the number of people infected in the governorate has risen to 41,410 cases since the outbreak of the virus, including 39,448 recovered patients, Salma Chargui, a member of the Health Watch Unit in Bizerte, told TAP on Monday.
