Bizerte: pilot project for re-integration of 25 local emigrants

A working session was held on Monday at Bizerte governorate headquarters, in anticipation of the launch of a pilot project for the reintegration of 25 emigrants from the region.

The project is part of a programme that targets a hundred people aged 18 to 65 from Bizerte, Jendouba, Greater Tunis and Mahdia back in their country, under a partnership agreement between then European Union and Tunisia on mobility of persons, signed on March 3, 2014.

The pilot project, which runs until February 2019, will target 25 beneficiaries from Ras Jebel, Rafraf, El Alia and Menzel Jemil.

A subsidy of Euros 50 thousand (150 thousand dinars) will be granted to an association in Ras Jebel that will be responsible for supporting beneficiaries in the implementation of their project.

Grants of Euros 3 thousand to Euros 7 thousand (9 thousand to 20 thousand dinars) will be provided to the beneficiaries for the realisation of their project.

Other grants of Euros 25 thousand (75 thousand dinars) are reserved for family projects.
