Accra: Mr Joseph Addae Akwaboa, the Bono Regional Minister, has cautioned staff of the Dormaa East District Assembly against sabotaging the implementation of government policies and programmes. He emphasized the need for collective support to advance the government's reset agenda, warning that any staff members who obstruct government business would face sanctions.
According to Ghana News Agency, Mr Akwaboa issued this warning during his address at a meeting held in Wamfie, which was part of his familiarization tour in the region. He urged assembly personnel to set aside political differences, stressing the importance of working together for the district's progressive development. He noted that without their collective support, the district's development would be challenging.
Furthermore, Mr Akwaboa advised the staff to adhere to work ethics and encouraged the assembly to motivate its employees. Madam Rachel Owusuaa, the Member of Parliament for the Dormaa East Constituency, also urged the assembly staff to remain committed to the district's holistic development.
