Bono NADMO Director Urges Youth to Leverage Gov’t Socio-Economic Interventions for Jobs

Sunyani: Mrs. Fati Kine-Lam, the Bono Regional Director of the National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO), has advised young people to prepare themselves and leverage government socio-economic interventions to acquire jobs. She emphasized the government’s commitment to creating job opportunities, explaining that unless unemployed youth position themselves properly, these opportunities may go unnoticed.

According to Ghana News Agency, Mrs. Kine-Lam provided this advice during a courtesy visit by executives of ‘Street Connect’, a youth wing of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), in Sunyani. She reassured the group that President John Dramani Mahama is dedicated to not failing the nation in his efforts to create job opportunities and empower the youth to contribute meaningfully to economic development.

Mrs. Kine-Lam also encouraged graduates to not solely depend on formal employment but to channel their skills into entrepreneurship. She assured them of the government’s readiness to support them in building their own businesses. Mr. Abdul Razack, the leader of ‘Street Connect’, stated that the group is committed to promoting the government’s socio-economic interventions and policies to the wider public.
