CaA�d Essebsi receives delegation of Kuwait-Tunisia parliamentary friendship group

President Beji CaA�d Essebsi received, Wednesday at the Carthage Palace, a delegation of the Kuwait-Tunisia parliamentary friendship group led by its president Askar Aouid Al-Anzi.

During the meeting, the head of state praised the efforts of the Kuwait-Tunisia parliamentary friendship group to strengthen Tunisian-Kuwaiti parliamentary cooperation and strengthen relations between the two countries.

While commending the excellent relations binding Tunisia and Kuwait, Caid Essebsi hailed the Kuwaiti contribution for boosting the tourism sector in Tunisia.

According to him, “Tunisia is open to all forms of cooperation with Kuwait and adheres to all proposals aimed at strengthening bilateral relations in all fields”.

In this connection, the President of the Republic voiced wish to see Tunisia and Kuwait work, each on its side, to bolster bilateral relations, serving the two countries’ interests.

For his part, Askar Aouid Al-Anzi emphasised the commitment of the Kuwait-Tunisia parliamentary friendship group to make a significant contribution to strengthening interparliamentary action and promoting bilateral relations, stressing the importance of promoting Kuwaiti investments in Tunisia.
