Cabinet meeting adopts number of bills and government orders

The Cabinet meeting, held on Wednesday at the Kasbah Palace, under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Youssef Chahed, adopted a number of bills and government orders.

According to a statement from the Prime Ministry, these bills are:

– Draft law approving a loan agreement signed between Tunisia and the African Development Bank (AfDB) to finance the project to support the national strategic plan “Digital Tunisia 2020”.

– Draft law approving a loan agreement signed between Tunisia and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) to help finance the modernisation project of railway line number 6, doubling and electrification of the Sahel Metro line section of the linking the cities of Moknine and Mahdia.

– Draft law approving a co-operation agreement between Tunisia and Egypt.

– Draft law approving an agreement in the field of air transport services signed between Tunisia and Sudan.

The Cabinet meeting also adopted a number of government orders.

They are:

– Draft decree fixing the composition and work of the committee tasked with giving an opinion on the provisions of regulation relating to the debts of the state, local authorities and public companies.

– Draft Order amending Order No. 1311 of 2013 dated February 27, 2013 on the establishment, organisation and management of a management unit by objectives to implement the integrated agricultural development project in the governorates of Kef and Kasserine, in addition to defining its organisation and methods of its management.

– Draft government decree on the creation of a management unit by objectives responsible for the implementation, organisation and management of the project of development of agricultural systems for local development in the governorate of Siliana.

– Draft Order amending Order No. 3670 of 2014 dated October 3, 2014 on the establishment, organisation and management of a management unit by objectives to complete the project of development and construction of the components of a technopark in Borj Cedria

– Draft decree adopting the final reports of the commission of investigation and identification of lands belonging to the state private domain in the governorate of Ariana (Ettadhamen delegation).

– Draft Order amending Order No. 1609 of 1993 dated July 26, 1996, concerning the management of the National Heritage Institute (French: INP).
