Tunisia’s Union sportive Monastirienne put one foot in the quarter-finals of the CAF Confederation Cup, after their win over DR Congo’s TP Mazembe (1-0), at a Group D day-4 game played on Wednesday afternoon in Rades.
The Monastir club consolidated their leadership of the group D with 10 points, ahead of Tanzania’s Young Africans (4 points) , while TP Mazembe are still 3rd with 3 points.
The goal was scored by Aboubacar Traoré (3′).
The other match of the group is pitting now Tanzania’s Young Africans against Mali’s AS Real Bamako.
