Caid Essebsi/Bouteflika phone talk, following tragic military plane crash

President Beji Caid Essebsi reaffirmed in a phone talk with his Algerian counterpart Abdelaziz Bouteflika Tunisia’s lasting solidarity with this sisterly country.

Caid Essebsi offered the condolences of Tunisia, people and government, to Algeria following the tragic military plane crash, according to a Presidency of the Republic press release.

The plane crashed on Wednesday after take-off at Boufarik airport (Blida) near Algiers. At least 257 people died in the disaster, according to the Algerian Defence Ministry.
