Caid Essebsi condoles with Trudeau

President Beji Caid Essebsi expressed his sincere condolences to Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, following the terrorist attack that targeted the Quebec city mosque, leaving several persons killed and injured.

“In these difficult times, all our thoughts go to the relatives of the victims and wounded affected by this tragedy,” reads a message sent the Canadian PM.

Tunisia condemns in the strongest terms this despicable attack aimed at the spirit of openness and tolerance prevailing in Canada, adds the Head of State in this message.

“This act challenges us to redouble efforts and co-operate even more closely to combat the common threat that terrorism and radicalisation represent for our respective societies.”

A terrorist attack was perpetrated, Sunday night, against the Quebec city mosque leaving six dead and eight wounded. A Tunisian was killed in this attack and two others were wounded.
