Campaign in France for incitement to investment in southern governorates has paid off (Report)

Organised in several French cities on March 13-16, the campaign for incitement to investment in the southern governorates has given “encouraging results,” says a report of the Industrial and Technological Pole of Gabes management company.

The campaign, conducted at the initiative of Politech-Gabes, in co-ordination with the Consulate General of Tunisia in Paris, was crowned with the signing of framework agreements, agreements in principle and technical co-operation agreements between French and Tunisian companies.

They are notably:

-Framework agreements between the “French Tech” network and the techno-poles of Gabes, Gafsa, Tozeur and Medenine for sharing expertise and experience in coaching and assisting emerging companies.

-Technical co-operation agreement between two private companies in Gafsa and Gabes and the French company “Devarem-Lille,” specialised in recycling building and public works waste.

-Agreement on the participation to the call for tender launched by the European programme “PRIMA” (partnership for research and innovation in the Mediterranean region) with a project to promote pomegranate juice.

-Agreement of principle for inking a partnership agreement between the “ZOOPOLE” of St Brieuc Ploufragan (a techno-pole dedicated to animal health and food safety) and the techno-poles of Gabes, Gafsa, Tozeur and Medenine.

At least 50 investment projects in southern Tunisia were presented during these promotional days which took place in the cities of Lille, Dijon, Nancy, Montpellier and Paris.
