The 2nd edition of the event “Tounsi of the world” will be held on August 5, 2021 at the Carthage National Museum to shed light, like the previous edition, on the success of Tunisians residing abroad, especially those who have stood out professionally and personally in host countries or internationally.
The steering committee of the event announced in a statement Tuesday the opening of applications for Tunisians abroad, providing them with the following link: www.tounsidumonde.com/candidater. Applicants wishing to register for this event should do it until June 11.
The event targets Tunisian personalities living abroad who have carried out actions in one of the following 13 areas: investment, health, heritage, women and youth, and contributed to Tunisia’s economic development.
The new edition will see the awarding of two new prizes: “the Solidarity Prize» and the “Economic Patriotism Prize”, awarded to candidates who have particularly mobilised for Tunisia, in the difficult context of recent months.
“Tounsi of the world” is part of a project to develop investment opportunities for the Tunisian diaspora.
It is co-financed by the European Union and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development and implemented in Tunisia by the German Agency for International Cooperation, in cooperation with the Ministry of Industry and the Agency for the Promotion of Industry and Innovation (APII).
