CAWTAR signs three partnership agreements to implement new regional projects for women and youth

Three partnership agreements on the implementation of new regional projects for women and youth have been signed on the sidelines of the closure of the 18th meeting of the Centre of Arab Women for Training and Research (CAWTAR) Board of Trustees.

The first is a partnership agreement with the Arab Gulf Programme for Development (AGFUND) on financial education to support the financial integration of young people and women project promoters, according to a statement from the centre.

The second agreement is about structural reinforcement of CAWTAR and the third partnership agreement was signed with the Canadian Forum of Federations to implement a regional project on empowering women to take on leadership roles in the MENA region.

The year 2018 will see the continuation of the activities and programmes initiated by CAWTAR with its partners as part of the implementation of the various components of its 2017/2021 five-year strategy and the main areas of research and training of the centre, according to the same source.
