Bibiani: Mr Solomon Aniah, the Chief Executive Officer of Solani Group of Companies, has gifted a brand-new Honda Accord vehicle to his father to honour him on his 95th birthday celebration. The special gift was co-presented with Mr Akwasi Agyemang, CEO of Watingo Motors, at Aduaddae Hotel in Bibiani.

According to Ghana News Agency, the gesture was a heartfelt expression of gratitude to God for guiding and protecting Mr John Kofi Aniah for 95 remarkable years and his tireless efforts and dedication to caring for his children. The occasion was interspersed with songs of thanksgiving to which the gathering, mostly clad in white dress, danced to the glory of God for the age.

The event brought together traditional authorities, political stalwarts, miners, security personnel, businessmen, and town folks, among others, to celebrate the old man. The Reverend P. K. Yirenkyi, District Minister of Sefwi Bekwai Presbyterian Church of Ghana, in a sermon quoting from Exodus 20:12, emphasized the importance of honouring parents and commended the Aniah family for celebrating their patriarch’s 95th birthday.

Mr. John Kofi Aniah, the celebrant, was thankful to his children and family, particularly Solomon Aniah, for such a massive birthday celebration organised for his 95th anniversary. He further urged fathers to live up to their responsibilities to bring change within society and not to neglect their children. “Fathers must provide direction and care for their children and provide their emotional needs to help guarantee them a brighter future,” he stated.
