CEPEX takes part in SIEL Algiers

The Export Promotion Centre (CEPEX) is taking part in the International Exhibition of Equipment and Services for Hotels, Restaurants and Communities (SIEL) which is held from January 27 to 30, 2018, in Algiers.

A hundred national and international exhibitors representing several countries, mainly France, Spain, Portugal, Turkey and Tunisia are taking part in the show.

“Tunisia’s participation is part of efforts to explore new opportunities for exchange and partnership in a sector that is of paramount importance in Algeria in light of the new imperatives of diversification of non-hydrocarbon activities,” said a statement of CEPEX published on Tuesday.

Exclusively reserved for professionals, the SIEL brings together manufacturers, representatives and distributors of brands operating in all the trades concerned by the theme of the show and that are looking for new opportunities in a highly demanding market compared to other completely exhausted traditional markets.

The 12th edition of the show marks the maturity of an event that has become unavoidable and aims to support the revival and development of the tourism and hospitality sector in Algeria and foster the emergence of a structured hotel equipment market, said the same source.

It added that the dynamic experienced by this sector offers Tunisian companies real opportunities in several areas such as building, architecture, decoration, hotel equipment, training, IT solutions and other activities that need to be built upon in a win-win partnership with Algeria.

As a continuation of this participation, B to B meetings in the hotel equipment sectors will be organised by the CEPEX on February 22, 2018 in Oran, on the sidelines of the SIAHA exhibition that will take place from February 22 to 25, 2018 in the same city.
