Ceremony on second anniversary of death of presidential guard’s officers

A ceremony was held Friday at the Gammarth barracks, on the occasion of the second anniversary of the death of the presidential guard’s officers. Twelve officers were killed and 20 injured after a suicide bomber attacked a bus of the Presidential Guard on November 24, 2015 at Mohamed V Avenue.

President Beji CaA�d Essebsi entrusted Minister Special Representative of the President of the Republic Lazhar Karoui Chebbi, along with the minister responsible for the presidential cabinet Slim Azzabi, with presiding over this commemorative ceremony.

The families of the martyrs, the members of the presidential cabinet, the officers and executives of the presidential security and several national personalities took part in the ceremony.
